A recent article points to a study by Columbia University which shows that Americans really don't have an interest in all this business about smart grids, CFL's or smart meters. They have bigger fish to fry so to speak. Additionally, most Americans don't have any idea how much of their energy bill each month goes to which appliances on average.
People don't really know what to do to save energy and their own money. They need help in understanding this and knowing what to do beyond just turning lights off when you leave a room.
Look for a simple yet effective energy calculator from Red Atom Networks to help you. We have it in the works and should release it soon. We're here to be your trusted advisor.
