Which HDTV do I need: 720p, 1080i, 1080p?

Currently the only source that can deliver a 1080p video source is Blu-Ray. Hi Def TV is typically 720p or 1080i. You also need to sit the right distance from the TV to take advantage of a larger TV with 1080p.
In general, go 1080p if you can afford it. 720p will be as good for closer seating and HDTV's less than approx. 50 inches.
