What Do Consumers Want In Their Connected Kitchen?

The Internet Home Alliance did a study that reports on what technology capabilities consumers most want in their kitchen. In the article at CEpro.com, "What Do Consumers Want In Their Connected Kitchen?", They found six main requirements:
- a home control station with music
- an energy usage monitoring and control system
- wireless Internet access
- a recipe projection system
- a digital calendar
- a universal charging station
There's a seventh item to add- TV. While you may not want to watch full length movies in the kitchen, you surely will want to watch the news, weather or sports while you're working on the next meal.
Probably one of the best all round devices for the kitchen that look stunning in any decor is the Sony LT series. It can perform all of the seven requirements mentioned and more with style on a countertop or kitchen island. It incorporates a built in TV tuner so you can watch TV in one window and brose the internet in another. It can also integrate with a home automation control system for full access to integrated home systems.
